Valeria Alekhina

Valeria is a highly experienced yacht broker, specialising in superyacht charter. Starting out in yacht brokerage in Monaco in 2001 and becoming the first Russian charter broker in the superyacht industry, her skill in negotiating new frontiers and satisfying high client expectations is second to none. Valeria’s yachting knowledge, linguistic skill and academic background ensures clients a service that is perfectly tailored to their needs. With the growing interest in superyachts and sophisticated luxury products in the Russian market over the past decades, Valeria has developed a strong client base, introducing them to the joys of yacht charter, purchase and build, and guiding them through each itinerary, contract, transaction or construction. Valeria has a Master of Science Degree in Linguistics and in her early career was a professor of Slavic languages in her native Moscow and then professor of Russian at French Universities. She speaks a total of 5 languages: Russian, English, French, Slovak and Serbo-Croatian. She then joined the yachting industry in 2001, holding a position in sales at Camper & Nicholson’s International, followed by a charter position at Simpson Marine and then in association with Fraser Yachts for over a decade as a Retail Charter Broker.
