The brand-new 47-metre Sanlorenzo explorer yacht, M, has entered the market and is available for charter exclusively through TWW Yachts. M is represented by Principal Partner David Westwood, who not only brokered the sale but also managed her construction.
Delivered in August of this year, M will make her grand premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show. With less than a month between her delivery and debut, M will be one of the newest—if not the newest—superyachts on display at Port Hercules this year.
“Our client was preparing for a world voyage and needed a yacht that could bring their dream to life,” says David Westwood, Principal Partner at TWW Yachts. “We conducted thorough market research, and all paths led us to the Sanlorenzo EXP500 series. It fully catered to their needs: a truly liveable interior for extended voyages, round-the-world capabilities, and the ability to support helicopter operations, carry a floatplane, and still have space for large tenders and water toys.”
TWW Yachts brokered the deal for M early in the construction phase. The EXP500 explorer was being quietly built on speculation, and at the time of sale, the final hotworks on both the hull and superstructure were nearing completion. The strong working relationship between Sanlorenzo and TWW Yachts has been forged over years of negotiating in-build sales. Just last year, TWW Yachts secured a buyer late in construction for the Sanlorenzo 52 Steel RMF, then managed her refit at the shipyard, redelivering RMF in record time.
With M, however, the purchase came early enough for the TWW Yachts team to refine the platform into an ideal world cruiser. Key highlights include the installation of a larger crane, upgraded stern thrusters, enhanced performance to extend her range, reduced emissions, and future-proofed Tier 3 compliance. Major tech upgrades throughout, including state-of the-art lighting and audio-visual systems, make M the most optimized Sanlorenzo EXP500 to date.
M was designed by Francesco Paszkowski, with interiors by Studio Indigo. Her striking dark grey hull is balanced against a crisp Matterhorn-white superstructure. She accommodates 12 guests across four en-suite staterooms, with the master suite located on the main deck forward, featuring drop-down breakfast terraces that open out over the sea. She also has capacity for 10 crew members.
There is ample al fresco space aboard M. Her large, sheltered sundeck includes an observation lounge, a Jacuzzi, a bar, and several sun loungers. The upper deck is stylish, with an elliptical settee, a wet bar, and an extendable brunch table for five. Glass sliding doors provide direct access to the snow-white upper saloon.
“M has a rugged Landrover Defender-styled exterior that melts into a soft calming abode as soon as you step aboard,” says Westwood. “We dedicated a great deal of time planning the ideal general arrangement and layout plans to improve flow and liveability. The client mandated the London design house Studio Indigo, which in conjunction with the Sanlorenzo interior department, delivered a truly spectacular interior. There is no doubt in my mind that the results they’ve achieved will be award-winning.”
While the Owner has just taken delivery of their ideal yacht to take them around the world, their plans have unfortunately changed. This presents an incredible opportunity to own or charter a home-away-from-home with limitless cruising capabilities. Following the Monaco Yacht Show, she will cross the Atlantic and make her global US debut at the Palm Beach Boat Show, before doing a charter season in the Caribbean. Bookings can already be made through TWW Yachts.
It should be noted that M is the latest of many deliveries that confirms TWW Yachts leadership in refining new build projects for their clients. Under their guidance, Tankoa revolutionized its S501 series with the delivery of the 50m JIMMY (formerly GREY). Displayed last year, JIMMY attracted great attention due to its fresh layout and technically driven design, including a show-stopping foredeck complete with a 144-inch retractable cinema screen. Another project is the second iteration of the Admiral 55 S-Force series, SILVER STAR I, for which TWW Yachts secured a bespoke Giorgio Armani interior design. SILVER STAR I will be showcased alongside M at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show.
Completing the trifecta for TWW Yachts this year is the award-winning 50-metre Benetti ALUNYA, another new build project managed by the boutique brokerage house. The three yachts on display are a testament to TWW Yachts’ prowess in the new build market. Last year, seven yachts were delivered under their management, and they are currently overseeing the construction of eight more. With four new contracts pending, TWW Yachts will soon have managed close to 20 new build yachts in just as many months.
