Everything you need to know about the Antigua Charter Yacht Show

Antigua, the yachting capital of the Caribbean, will soon play host to one of the most significant trade-only charter events on the calendar: the Antigua Charter Yacht Show. Taking place from 4 to 9 December 2024, the show will be held across three picturesque marinas—Antigua Yacht Club Marina, Falmouth Harbour Marina, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Nelson’s Dockyard. There is no better place to see the premier yachts available for charter this winter.

TWW Yachts attends each year to stay up-to-date about the ever-evolving fleet of charter yachts in the region, meeting with captains and crew to develop a robust understanding of each vessel. With this knowledge, our brokers can provide the best insights for their charter clients.

Around 60 superyachts have already been confirmed, with a combined L.O.A. (Length Overall) close to 3 kilometres and an average length of 50 metres. Among the lineup are many charter favourites, including the 85.3-metre BOLD, 95-metre 60-metre CC SUMMER, COME TOGETHER, and 85.65-metre HBC.

The legendary 106.7-metre sailing yacht BLACK PEARL will also be on display, marking her entry to the charter market for the first time. Built by Oceanco and delivered in 2018, the iconic sailing yacht has been a closely guarded secret until now. ALFA NERO is also back on the market after being recently sold and unsanctioned. TWW Yachts will present three yachts this year, including the highly popular 39.3-metre S7.

Many activities and events are scheduled over the six days, including seminars, networking evenings, and the annual chef and tablescaping competition. This year’s theme for the Concours de Chef competition is the “Art of Charter,” where participating yacht chefs and crew will create a Michelin-standard immersive culinary experience. The competition involves three courses, with bonus points awarded for incorporating a “mystery ingredient” into at least one dish.

If there are any yachts on display you’d like TWW Yachts to inspect on your behalf, please don’t hesitate to reach out, and we’ll make all the arrangements. For more information about charter options this winter, our brokers are available to help you create the perfect itinerary.
